Welcome to the homepage of Marc Aaron Melzer, Esq. I am an experienced attorney, admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and before federal courts, with a strong background in complex litigation, intellectual property and information technology law. I am an associate at Hoguet Newman Regal & Kenney, LLP, a boutique litigation firm in midtown Manhattan.

Last year, I published Copyright Enforcement in the Cloud in the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal (cite: 21 Fordham Intell. Prop. Media & Ent. L. J. 403). You can read it at the IPLJ’s website (pdf).

Last year, I served as a Visiting Research Fellow with Fordham Law School’s Center for Law and Information Policy (CLIP).  The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) commissioned CLIP to undertake a review of relevant literature in order to analyze the role of intellectual property rights as a barrier to entry. WIPO released the study on their website last spring (pdf).
